Plans are formalizing for the 2011 Reunion and we want to give our E-mail users early notice regarding a couple of items. When Reunion plans are completed, a Post Office mailing will be sent to the entire ZHS population for whom we have mailing information.

The Reunion will be held Friday through Sunday, May 13-15, 2011, at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Mary Beth Christman Lindung has negotiated an excellent price of $139.00 plus tax per night (traditional room, single or double occupancy), and this rate can be applied to stays of 3 days prior to and after the May 13th and 14th nights of the Reunion. More work is needed to determine the Registration fee, but efforts are to keep it close to what we have had for past Reunions.

Cancellation Policy: An individual reservation must be canceled 48-hours prior to the individual’s scheduled arrival date to avoid the first night’s room/tax cancellation penalty.

We have visited with the City of Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau, which prints yearly a 60+ page Santa Fe Visitors Guide detailing such things as Restaurants, Attractions and Resources, an Event Calendar, Travel Information and so forth.
The 2011 version of the Guide will be available in January and you will receive a copy in the mail to assist with planning your trip. The current 2010 Guide is available on-line at www.santafe.org

If you like, you can look at La Fonda's web site at http://www.lafondasantafe.com/ It is a wonderful hotel, sitting right on the plaza in Santa Fe, and the decor reflects Santa Fe's history and culture. Several of you touted it when Santa Fe was announced as the Reunion city.
You now have the necessary information to begin your planing. It is easy to reserve a room, and there is no cancellation penalty as long as La Fonda's cancellation policy (above) is adhered to. Please note the cutoff date cited above for securing a room at the $139.00 rate. Act now and take the worry out of things.
