Photo and information about Mike Shipp submitted by
Lynn Shipp/Lanigan - wife of Mike 1969-1978.

"Please know that Mike passed away almost a year ago, on October 7, 2002. I don't know if Mike graduated from ZHS, as his father, Lt. Col. Warren C. Shipp, was transferred to Cheyenne, Wyoming before Mike graduated from high school in Spain, I believe, and Mike graduated from high school in Wyoming."

"Here are some photos of Zaragoza taken in 1960.
They were part of a calendar that the class of '63 sold to make money for a ski trip to Candanchu and a Spring trip to the Monastery de Piedras.
This calendar went to many places around the world with us and is worn and tattered but still holds many memories of a special place."

This photo of Lionel was sent, July 17, 05, from Carla Salas, one of his students.
She wrote:
"This is Carla Salas, one of Lionel LaPre's students. I've just come back from having lunch with him and my brother Conrado at the park Primo de Rivera, a place he loves going at least once every week because the view is soothing and beautiful, as you can surely remember. It was so good to see Lionel after half a year (I've been studying at the University of Rhode Island) and to see him in such a good shape! He's lost some weight, takes care of his health and is in a great mood. We talked and had a good time together, there were lots of things to bring up and too little time to review them all. Basically he's excited about his upcoming trip to Florida whereas his life here is quiet and uneventful. The picture I'm attaching is from today's lunch, he told me to send it to you (regardless of how bad my bro looks in it!), in case you want to post it on your ZHS webpage or you simply feel like seeing Lionel on a recent picture. Hope your long-awaited reunion goes fine and you all have fun and stories to catch up with. Take care!" Carla Salas
